How to measure clicks on flash banners?
Our website uses an automatic system to count the number of clicks on your banner ads. If you want us to tell you how many times your Flash banner has been clicked, your banner must support the "clicktag" technology.
Please read the following information and examine the sample file.
Click here to download the FLA file we have prepared to demonstrate the example below.
After designing the banner, press the "Insert Layer" button to create a new layer:

Rename this layer "buton".

Select the "Rectangle Tool".

Using the "Rectangle Tool", draw a solid rectangle to cover the entire surface of the banner.

While the rectangle is selected, select the "Modify > Convert to Symbol" command from the menu.

In the "Convert to Symbol" window, type the name "buton" in the "Name" field, and select "Button" in the "Behavior" field.

While the rectangle on which you have implemented the "Convert to Symbol" command is still selected, select the Window > Devolepment Panels > Actions command from the menu.

Add the following lines to the "Actions" panel:
on (release) {
getURL(clicktag,"_blank");
}

As before, select the Window > Devolepment Panels > Actions
commmand from the menu, and close the Actions panel. The rectangle that has been transformed into a button, complete with its ActionScript, has to be transparent to make your banner visible. To do this, while your rectangle is selected, choose "Alpha" in the "Color" section of the "Properties" panel and type "0" into the box on the right.

Well done! Now all you have to do is export your flash banner and send it to us in SWF format.
Have a good time...
